“The apartment is on a property set in a small village with stunning countryside surrounding it...... it is way bigger than it looks in the photos ..... Great to have a fridge and microwave as well as the kettle! In these times too, having a separate entrance makes you feel safer than wandering along a hotel corridor. Nice to chat with your neighbours in the fresh air ...... an oasis of normality in which to relax! The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming ...... Make sure you wander down their garden to the view over the fields at the end and enjoy all the old English roses, herbs and flowers in the borders ..... and then take a walk past the pub to the lakes and watch the swans ......... your stress just melts away!”

We loved our stay here. The room had everything we needed- comfy bed, small kitchenette, and a powerful shower. We also took our pup with us, who settled right in. Duncan kindly provides you with the essentials (bread, milk, cereal, soap, etc), and the room was spotless on arrival. Such a great base for exploring the Shropshire hills. We absolutely recommend staying here.

“We had a great stay at the old vicarage. The accommodation has everything you need and it is really comfortable. It's in a lovely location and we had some lovely walks. Also recommend going to The Long Mynd for a hike. It's fantastic. We would highly recommend the old vicarage!”
